Project Overview
Nakhan Prospect
Gold bearing veins in granodiorite intruding sedimentary and carbonate rocks. 207 shallow holes drilled, total of 7,000 meters covering an area 2.2 kilometers long by 1.1 kilometers wide.
Drilling (RAB) at the Nakhan prospect followed up on trenching results and identified a mesothermal gold system that is controlled by structures and extends for at least 2 kilometres in strike.
Results showed 4m @ 11.6g/t gold from 14 metres and many +1g/t gold intercepts over 3 to 4 metre widths. This exploration drilling and results confirmed good continuity along strike within the oxide zone of the bedrock.
The prospect is now prepared for deeper fresh rock drilling, with continuous gold intercepts in the first 20 to 30 metres over 2 kilometres in strike.
Significant gold assay results in drillholes:
- 4m (14-18m) @ 11.57 g/t Au including 1m (16-17m) @ 43g/t and 1m (17-18m) @ 2.33g/t (00008LRA)
- 9m (10-19m) @ 3.23 g/t Au including 4m (11-15m) @ 6.6 g/t Au (00071LRA)
- 4m (12-16m) @ 3.62 g/t Au (00086LRA)
- 4m (5-9m) @ 3.01 g/t Au (00148LRA)
- 2m (7-9m) @ 2.88 g/t Au (00175LRA)
- 2m (6-8m) @ 2.05 g/t Au (00179LRA)
- 3m (18-21m) @ 2.93 g/t Au including 1m (20-21m), 5.13 g/t Au (00181LRA)
- 2m (38-40m) @ 2.43 g/t Au (00182LRA)
- 1m (20-21m) @ 1.63 g/t Au (00227LRA)
- 7m (26-33m) @ 4.98 g/t Au including 1m (26-27m) @ 19.75 g/t Au and 1m (28-29m) @ 10.40 g/t Au (00230LRA)
Moung Pha
Several scout holes at the Mouang Pha prospect aimed at geophysics (resistivity) targets under a small patch of silicified limestone breccias. Two distant holes hit 11m @ 0.25g/t gold and 7m @ 0.12g/t gold. These grades and results are significant because they are from a wide-ranging exploration and shallow levels.
Phu Lon Nickel PGE
Ultramafic unit at oblique orientation to Arc parallel structure, anomalous in PGE-Cu-Ni-Co-Cr including significant mineralisation identified at surface over at least >14km of strike length. Previous exploration highlighted:
Significant Nickel assay results in trenches:
- 975m @ 0.51% Ni (Including 42m @ 1.02% Ni)
- 90m @ 0.67% Ni (including 36m 1.01% Ni)
- 80m @ 0.74% Ni (including 17m @0.91% Ni)
Significant Nickel assay results in drillholes:
- 5.6m @ 0.68% Ni from surface (PLDD008)
- 5.0m @ 0.51% Ni from surface (PLDD006)
- 1.4m @ 0.56% Ni from surface (PLDD004)
Somsavat Copper Prospect
The western part of the Tenement has significant copper anomalism, mapped over 12km, identified by stream sediments and rock chip samples in intermediate volcanic host. Potential for a range of mineralisation styles, initial follow up will be low-cost surface activities to define priority targets.
