Drilling commenced

The team from Valesco Resources, including its wholly owned subsidiary Dominion Lao, would like to update you on some exciting developments. On the 28th February, change of control to a new board and management was enacted to enable the resumption of exploration on the Sayabouly Project.

Over the past six weeks, we have hit the ground running. We mobilised our exploration and drilling crew and, just yesterday, dispatched the first two holes of our planned 55-hole diamond drill program to the ALS lab in Vientiane. This was done before we shut down for the Pi Mai (Lao New Year) break.

Project Status Update:
The drilling programme is designed to test lateral and vertical continuity of gold mineralisation in quartz and sulphide veining through a staged program. Priority 1 & 2 holes for approximately 2,200m will test previous high-grade intercepts across 4 northeast trending lodes. If warranted a further 2,300m is planned which is envisaged would provide sufficient data for an initial inferred resource.

Project milestones:
25th Mar 2024 – Installed 20,000ltrs diesel supply, through one of Laos largest fuel supplier, at competitve prices.
28th Mar 2024 – Drilling contractor, Boart Longyear mobilised to site.
30th Mar 2024 – Commenced initial shift of drilling with impressive 31.6mtrs in 1st Shift.
7th April 2024 - Power upgrade at Moungpha Campsite.
12th April 2024 – Camp upgrade in progress providing facilities for up to 40 people running day and night shift.

Early Signs Promising:
Initial observations of core from the first 4 holes show quartz-limonite veining corresponding well with gold-mineralised zones identified in historical aircore drilling and trenching.
